\n\t\n\t\tGoal of the workshop\t<\/span>\n<\/h3>\n<\/div>[vc_column_text]We live in a <\/span>waste society<\/span><\/a>. Items are produced only to use them for a short period of time and dispose them afterwards. Sometimes products end up in landfill without being used at all!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In marketing and media industries lots of value goes to waste as well. Just think about all the brilliant ideas created during a pitch that in the end you didn\u2019t win. Or an awesome proposition for a client that turns out to be not quite ready for this idea. That is how precious energy, insights, ideas etc. end up in the bin. Not only is it hard to take in, it\u2019s also not a sustainable way of working.\u00a0 Moreover we miss opportunities to get <\/span>extra <\/span><\/i>value from the assets we already have<\/span><\/p>\n

In this workshop we have<\/span> increased the participants’\u00a0 awareness of waste in their deliverables<\/b> at the office. Examples from the natural world and business practice <\/span>inspired them how to use time and energy in a smarter way.\u00a0<\/b>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”15px”]

\n\t\n\t\tContent\t<\/span>\n<\/h3>\n<\/div>[vc_column_text]Waste does not exist in the natural world. We\u2019ve shown wonderful examples of how nature works. Similar strategies are used in the Circular Economy, better known as \u2018R-strategies\u2019, such as Reuse and Redesign. We analyze these strategies into a number of simple working principles and illustrate this with practical cases. For example, how Disney reuses parts of animations as well.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the (digital) Re-value workshop we let the participants apply these strategies on their own deliverables, like a target audience analysis. That helped them to work more efficiently and create new sales opportunities.<\/p>\n

At first you think ”yes, but how should I apply this in my own (work) environment?” But by constantly giving small assignments, it works very well. It was also nice that there was always limited time in the breakout rooms, so you stay concrete and to the point. A really fun, interesting, educational workshop!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
